So it would be real simple if the Republicans -- well, it's real simple. It'll never happen, but if these 48 Republicans say, "You know, we're not part of this. We're simply not going along with this. We weren't consulted, the president wasn't consulted. The president's powers have been diminished here." Just vote on the constitutional option. Vote on it; bring it up. Frist, bring it up. Bring up the constitutional option. "But the deal says he can't do it for a year and a half." Well, he doesn't have to agree to the deal.How would that play out? My guess is that Frist would look like insanely partisan.
