News from the Past - September 1, 1929

This is one of those stories that just reads oddly because the meanings of words have changed. It's from The Sunday Register, out of Buckley West Virginia.
Lego Man's Foot is
Crushed by Car Wheel

Charles F, Clark, 19, was brought to the Baleigh General hospital yesterday afternoon for treatment of injuries to his left foot sustained when a motor wheel passed over it at Lego earlier in the day. He was brought lo the hospital by his father S B. Clark.
While young Clark's injuries are not considered serious, indications are that he will be unable to work for several weeks.
As near as I can tell the town of Lego has no connection with the popular plaything.
